Our Culture
Historic downtown Yakima takes visitors on through the cultural history of the region with venues like the Westside’s Allied Arts Center. Residents can also go down to the many museums and art galleries to go on a cultural exploration. The Yakima City orchestra plays often for community events and paid public performances. The gorgeous Yakima SunDome hosts many different events each year, ranging from trade shows to concerts.
The Great Outdoors
Local residents can also spend their time exploring the picturesque landscape around the Yakima River and other scenic locations. Lake Keechelus, for example, gives residents somewhere to enjoy the outdoors without leaving the beloved city of Yakima behind.
